The title and thumbnail must represent the real video. If the packaging creates the wrong expectation, viewers may leave early and the content can lose discoverability.
Front-load the important idea
Viewers may see only part of a title. Put the clearest topic and promise near the beginning, then place episode numbers or branding near the end.
Choose searchable or intriguing
A searchable title explains exactly what the viewer will get. An intriguing title creates curiosity. Strong titles can use either approach while remaining specific and accurate.
Use caps and emoji deliberately
Selective emphasis can add emotion. Full-line capitalization, repeated punctuation, and excessive emoji can make the idea harder to read.
Connect title and description
